FREE Supervision Process Software for Novus Data Logger Users
CAS DataLoggers, the master distributor for Novus Automation, is pleased to announce the launch of SuperView Mobile Lite, a FREE Android remote monitoring application for Novus data loggers. This new mobile version of the SCADA SuperView Mobile app enables users to remotely supervise their industrial process using a smartphone or tablet with the same simplicity and convenience of the complete SCADA solution for PC. The new app is now available for download at Google Play.
Available for Android v. 2.1 and up, SuperView Mobile Lite is an innovative multiple-supervision application allowing users to remotely read values from devices using Modbus TCP protocol (WiFi, 3G, GPRS, Modbus over Bluetooth, etc). Now runtime performance and information about users’ projects is available at a touch. Version 2.16 is 6.5M and includes secure user authentication, an Audit Trail (event log)…
Users can visualize data using screens like List, Table or Trend Charts, and experience system resources through a predefined demo application with random data. Users can also view locations using a GPS-integrated map, customize parameters like polling interval, update rates for screens etc., and also build screens, configure tags (short, integer, float, etc), alarms and connections. Alarms feature acknowledgment and integration with Android’s notification system.
Additional features include a configuration wizard, a math formulae with function library, and an import and export function to interchange applications between devices. Users can also view the statistics and status data of their application in real time and access a database of Novus devices.
Recently updated in early July, the new app already has high user reviews and an average rating of 4.8 out of 5. Automatic updates are available through the Android Market.
The Novus FieldLogger is a versatile, powerful and cost-effective industrial data logger which handles analog and digital signals with high resolution and speed, also offering expansion modules and wireless communication accessories. The FieldLogger has 8 configurable analog inputs that can read thermocouples, Pt100, Pt1000, and voltage and current signals. The FieldLogger also features 2 relay outputs and 8 digital ports individually configurable as inputs or outputs. The FieldLogger’s RS485 interface can operate as a Modbus RTU master or slave. The datalogger has a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface that allows for access through a browser (HTTP), FTP (client and server), e-mails sending (SMTP), SNMP and Modbus TCP. The user-friendly configurator software provides means for online monitoring, logged data downloading and exporting to spreadsheets and other formats.
