The World’s Largest HVAC&R Marketplace!
CAS DataLoggers is partnering with high-quality manufacturer T&D to share a booth at the 64th Annual 2012 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigerating Exposition on Jan 23rd-25th at McCormick Place North and South, Chicago, Illinois. CAS will be in attendance for the 3rd consecutive year, and this year’s AHR exposition is likely to be the largest in the convention’s history, hosting nearly 2,000 respected manufacturers and suppliers of the latest HVAC&R systems and equipment. Over 50,000 industry professionals and customers are making the most of this excellent opportunity to check out T&D’s cost-effective datalogging products, combined with CAS’s expertise and technical support. These reliable dataloggers record and measure temperature, humidity, voltage and current among other vital parameters, and they’ll be on display at the world's largest HVAC&R marketplace to help customers reduce their labor costs, gain and maintain an advantage in job bidding, and permanently replace time-intensive manual recording methods.
CAS will be demonstrating wireless and wired temperature monitoring systems from T&D, specifically designed for monitoring HVAC&R systems including furnaces, ovens, refrigerators, freezers and cryostats. These cost-effective solutions are offered in battery-operated portable models designed for troubleshooting intermittent faults all the way to sophisticated temperature monitoring systems which record from distant sites then automatically send the data to a specified remote location. Powerful alarming capabilities ensure that users always stay appraised when parameters suddenly go out of specification. Ideal for projects monitoring HVAC&R performance, energy efficiency, facilities monitoring, specialized climate control systems, performance of alternative HVAC systems, these durable solutions help users save both time and money.
This year, CAS will be onhand displaying customizable datalogger models which feature as few as 2 inputs all the way up to devices with over 100 inputs to suit any particular application’s requirements. T&D’s signature RTR-500 series dataloggers measure many different physical values with built-in wireless communication capability, such as the RTR-505-V wireless voltage data logger which measures and records voltage signals from many different types of sensors and measuring devices. Both instantaneous or average recording methods are available, and the datalogger is equipped with a convenient preheat function that transmits a preheat signal synchronized with the recording interval to turn sensors or other devices on and off.
Additionally, T&D’s wireless log-EZ series comprises a low-cost solution for heating and cooling management in homes, office buildings and for managing temperature and humidity in wine production and storage. These portable data loggers provide hassle-free temperature and humidity monitoring with wireless communication ranging out to 50 ft, and just one computer can manage data recorded by multiple log-EZ units placed in distant rooms. Their wireless communication really simplifies data transmission while entirely removing the need for cables or for manually gathering the units to collect data.
CAS and T&D are also demonstrating an industry first: the all-new TR-76Ui CO2 + Temperature + Humidity Logger, an economical three-channel datalogger which simultaneously measures and records CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity. This versatile new datalogger has a wide CO2 measurement range of up to 5,000 ppm and boasts a logging capacity of 8,000 data sets. These data loggers also feature a warning monitoring function with contact signal output. Free software is included enabling users to download data recorded by the device to a PC via USB connection, so that data from all three channels can be simultaneously viewed in one easy-to-read graph or table. Users can also save data as text for use with common spreadsheet software.
CAS Applications Specialists will be available at the T&D Corp. Booth #3976 to offer experienced solution advice for applications in the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration industries. Pete Martin, Sales Manager for CAS DataLoggers, explained the AHR show’s appeal: “The industry’s constant need for improved energy efficiency and sustainable technology has directly inspired these new datalogging products. In this tough economy, businesses have to find ways to cut costs without sacrificing accuracy and alarm protection, and T&D’s wireless and wired data loggers combine those needs to provide our customers with reliable, automated monitoring. With that in mind we’re really looking forward to demonstrating at this year’s show.”
