An Ideal Alternative to Paper Chart Recorders!

Brainchild Paperless Chart Recorders are an ideal replacement for older paper chart recorders. Their built-in displays allow users to quickly review measured data in real time. Soft buttons allow users to scroll back in time and review historical trends. No more hunting for hardcopy records–a removable Flash memory card stores the measured data for archiving or transfer to a PC!

Brainchild products feature 6 to 48 inputs for measuring voltage, current, thermocouples or RTDs, providing useful data on products and processes alike. Brainchild’s compact size makes it a portable solution for laboratories, factories and hospitals alike.

Alarm capability ensures that your processes and experiments are operating within proper measurement values. Brainchild also features several mathematical and programmable capabilities useful for lab applications, including statistics with instant, average, and min/max values.

Putting Your Data Front-and-Center

Users can access onsite data locally onscreen; remotely via standard Ethernet networking; or from a remote location via optional RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 serial interfaces. Configuration can be done on a PC and then sent to the recorder.

Historical data can be stored in flash ROM, Compact Flash Card, or on a remote host PC for data evaluation and printout. Brainchild’s data retention is specified at a minimum of 10 years with zero power data retention.

Free Configuration & Display Software

Every Brainchild paperless recorder includes standard configuration software featuring a convenient historical viewer. Configuration can be done on a PC and later sent to the recorder which displays historical trends, alarms, and events. This data can be printed out or exported to a CSV file.

Data Acquisition Studio software is available for purchase, enabling users to view data in real-time. The optional Plus version offers more features such as mathematic functions, external channels, and FDA21 CFR part 11 support.
