GD47 Air Quality Transmitter

eltek GD47 air quality transmitter for GEN II data logging systems

GD47 Air Quality Transmitter

The Eltek GD47 is a self contained transmitter for air quality measurements. It collects temperature, humidity and CO2 measurements and sends them wirelessly to a receiver for storage, display and alarming. The GD47 has an LCD to provide local real-time display of measured values. It uses a self calibration NDIR (infrared) sensor for accurate CO2 measurements in the range of 0-5000 ppm. The GD47 is powered by an external 12V supply with an internal NiMH back-up battery that can provide up to 100 hours of operation. The GD47 is one of more than two dozen models of transmitters with versions for temperature, humidity, voltage, current, state/pulse, light and air pressure.

Measured data is transmitted via a proprietary wireless link to one of several receivers:

  • RX250AL – Wireless receiver with local storage for up to 250,000 readings and alarm output
  • RC250 – Wireless receiver with serial data output for connection to a computer
  • WSR – Wireless receiver with analog output

Depending on the transmitter frequency and environment, the typical wireless range can be several hundred feet to almost a mile. Repeaters are available to extend the range.

64KTM Thermocouple Data Logger

Delphin 64KTM Thermocouple data logger

Delphin 64KTM

The Delphin 64KTM was developed to provide a multi-channel solution for temperature measurement using thermocouples. It provides 64 differential inputs with 110V isolation and galvanic separation prevent measurement errors from ground loops and a 24 bit sigma-delta A/D converter. The Cold Junction reference temperature is measured using a class A, 4-wire RTD enabling an absolute accuracy of 0.2°.

Typical users are R&D groups and laboratories who need to acquire highly precise temperature measurements. Traditional areas of use are test stations for gas turbines or boilers but the system is also suitable for temperature measurement in ovens, furnaces, heating chambers, temperature controlled enclosures and manufacturing or processing equipment.

The 64KTM is equipped with internal memory for up to 128 million data records. The memory’s independent data recording capability provides data security for long-term measurement runs. Individual channels can be set up with limit values enabling monitoring and alarm functions and calculations including moving averages. The basis version if the 64KTM is set up for 64 channel operation and the modular design enables several units to be connected so that several thousand channels can be processed.

Other features include:
• Industrial grade 19″ rack enclosure
• Support for E,J,K,L,N,S,R,T,U thermocouples
• 24 Bit measurement resolution
• 1 GB Internal memory

RTR-500 Series Wireless Data Logger

CAS Dataloggers is pleased to announce the new RTR-500 family of wireless data loggers from TandD Corporation of Japan. These data loggers give you the ability to monitor temperature and humidity virtually anywhere via a built in GSM/GPRS Cellular Modem in the RTR-500GSM base station.  The individual loggers communicate with the base station via a high speed short range 900 MHz wireless network. Then, data and alarms are automatically sent from the base station via email or ftp via the standard cell phone network.

The RTR-500 family currently includes:

  • RTR-500 USB Base Station/Repeater
  • RTR-500GSM Base Station with GSM/GPRS modem
  • RTR-501 Temperature Data Logger with internal sensor
  • RTR-502 Temperature Data Logger with external sensor
  • RTR-503 Temperature and Humidity Data Logger

They offer improved performance over the current RTR-5 series including increased short range wireless range (up to 500 feet), faster download speed and longer battery life, (up to 4 years in the high capacity models).

The new RTR-500GSM Cellular Base Station is the heart of the system. It can automatically download data from up to 20 individual data loggers. The base station also provides real-time monitoring of the data loggers for alarm conditions and can then send the alarm notification via email or SMS. The RTR-500GSM can be powered from an external 8-34 VDC source and features an internal battery backup. It also provides a set of alarm contacts for local notification. An optional GPS can be attached to the RTR-500GSM for location tracking. A new software set-up wizard simplifies the GSM network configuration of the base station.

The RTR-500 family is ideal for monitoring temperature and humidity in locations where LAN connections are not available or practical such as trucks transporting perishable goods, remote storage or warehouse locations and environmental monitoring.
