We are pleased to announced the release of the new dataTaker DT82E data logger. The DT82E is a robust, stand alone, low power data logger featuring USB memory stick support, 18 bit
resolution, extensive communications capabilities and a built-in display.
Based on the highly successful dataTaker DT80 range, the new DT82E provides an extremely versatile, easy to use solution for all types of environmental and general purpose data logging projects. Rugged design and construction
provide reliable operation in extreme conditions.
The dataTaker DT82E's Dual Channel Isolation allows 4, 2 wire differential or 6 common referenced analog inputs to be used in many combinations to measure temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA loops, resistance, bridges,
strain gauges, and frequency. The DT82E also has digital I/O channels and high-speed counter inputs along with support for SDI-12 sensor networks and a 12V regulated output to power sensors.
Measurements can all be scaled, logged and returned in engineering units or with statistical reporting. Organize sampling, logging, alarm and control tasks within schedules to suit your requirements.
The DT82E can store up to 10 million data points in internal memory, with the ability to log as much or as little as you need with independent control of schedule size and mode. Overwrite or stop logging once allocated memory
is full. Archive data on alarm event, copy to USB memory or transfer via FTP, the choice is yours.
Communications features include RS232 with modem support, Ethernet and USB memory stick ports. Connect to the DT82E locally, remotely or over the Internet. The Built-in Web Interface allows users to configure
the DT82E, access logged data and see current measurements as mimics or in a list using a web browser. An internal FTP Server provides data to your office over the internet or mobile phone network, without the need for polling or
specific host software.
