How To Return An Item
Before returning an item you must obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. You must provide proof that you purchased the item from CAS Dataloggers (purchase order number or invoice number). Your item must be in its original unused condition in order to be accepted for return, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Items must be clean and free of any toxins or debris. You must return the item within 15 days of your purchase.1. Before returning a product, go to our RMA Request Page or call to request an RMA#.
3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.
3. Once you receive the RMA#, post the number on the outside of your box and send your item to:

- Some items can not be returned. These include pre-programmed loggers and modified units.
- Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
- Engineering, calibration fees and special orders can not be canceled or returned.
All items are subject to a 15% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. If an item is not returned with ALL original packaging, cables, manuals and ALL included accessories, the restocking fee may be higher. The original shipping and handling paid on the order is not subject to refund.
If your unit is in like new condition, you may exchange your item for a different unit. You may not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but the customer remains responsible for return shipping.
Products that are returned after the warranty period or that are damaged by the customer as specified in the warranty provisions can be returned to CAS Dataloggers with a valid RMA# for evaluation. The item will be inspected and corrective action will be recommended and quoted prior to any repairs.

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.
If an item goes on back order we will ask if you would like a partial shipment of the items in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order.
- When placing an order make sure you include the following information on your Purchase Order:
- Include your first and last name (purchaser) along with the name of the user, if other than yourself.
- Specify Ship To and Bill To addresses.
- Include Phone Number and Email Address
- Note whether you are taxable or exempt. Please include your tax exempt number if applicable.
- Terms are Net 30 days with approval. New customers must provide 3 trade and 1 bank reference. A late payment charge of 1.5% per month may be applied to any past due balance.
