Product Spec Sheet

Data Logger & Data Acquisition

Combining the roles of data acquisition, data logging and controller, the DT800 is a robust, stand alone, high speed unit featuring 16 bit resolution, battery backed internal SRAM and ATA Flash memory card support, 12V or internal battery operation, and a powerful operating system and internal file structure.

Robust and Versatile

The DT800 has 42 analogue inputs, giving 42 separate single ended channels or 24 differential channels. These are isolated and over voltage protected, with measurement across 12 auto-scaling ranges from 10mV to 13V full scale. All common measurement types are supported, including DC and AC(RMS) voltage, current, resistance, temperature, bridges, strain gauges, 4-20mA loops and frequency. Adjustable excitation and triggering are provided on all channels. A Serial Sensor Port is also included for sensors with RS232/485 or SDI-12 capability Digital I/O consists of 8 digital input channels, and 8 digital I/O channels. Two of the digital inputs have adjustable threshold for the monitoring of low level signals. Digital state, counts at up to 10kHz and triggering are supported on all digital channels.

dEX Software

dEX is an intuitive graphical interface that allows you to configure your data logger, view real-time data in mimics, trend charts or tables and retrieve your historical data for analysis.

dEX runs directly from your web browser and can be accessed either locally or remotely, anywhere that a TCP/IP connection is available including worldwide over the Internet. You can use any of the logger’s built-in communications ports to view dEX including Ethernet, USB and RS-232.

  • Built-in software - no application to install
  • Runs directly from your web browser
  • Accessible by Ethernet or USB connection
  • Intuitive graphical interface
  • Easy-to-use configuration editor
  • Access live and historical data
  • View data charts, mimics and tables

Real Time Trending

Real-time trending for sensors, calculations or other data. Supports up-to 5 traces per chart and up-to 2 Y-axes. Backfills with historical data stored in logger.

Real Time Displays

dEX displays real-time sensor measurements, calculations and diagnostic information, including mimics, tables and trend charts

Configuration Made Easy

The configuration editor allows you to view, edit and save logger configurations in an easy-to-use Windows Explorer style user interface. Tree view of configuration allows definition of measurement schedules and measurements.

Wiring diagrams show possible wiring configuration for selected sensor type. Configuration can be stored and retrieved on either the logger or a local computer
