Series 4 dataTakers Are Faster, Smarter & Wireless!
Bestselling manufacturer dataTaker and American distributor CAS DataLoggers are proud to announce the new Series 4 DT82I Industrial Data Logger! These wireless data loggers come equipped with Ethernet communications, integral LCD display, an internal battery, and options available for integrated WiFi and GSM cellular modem.
With dataTaker, there’s no software required—an internal web server is used to configure the logger’s operation and can present dashboard displays to any browser which can reach the logger over the LAN.
CAS DataLoggers offers dataTaker as a full-featured monitoring solution complete with flexible inputs, communications and software.
The Smarter Solution:
- Dual Channel Isolation Technology
- Up to 6 Analog (± 50V) sensor inputs
- 8 flexible digital terminals
- 2 Serial ‘Smart Sensor’ ports
- Programmable Analog Outputs
- Modbus for SCADA connection
- Web & FTP client / server
- USB memory for easy data and program transfer
The dataTaker DT82I Smart Data Logger provides an extensive array of features allowing it to be used across a wide variety of applications. The DT82I is a robust, stand alone, low-power data logger featuring 18-bit resolution, extensive communications capabilities, and a built-in display.
Datataker’s Universal inputs ensure that users can configure the analog inputs to accept virtually any type of sensor input–everything from thermocouples, DC voltage, 4-20 mA signals, even strain gage bridges.
The dataTaker DT82I’s Dual Channel concept allows up to 4 isolated or 6 common-referenced analog inputs to be used in many combinations. With FTP and Web interface, along with 12V regulated output to power sensors, the DT82I is a totally self-contained solution. Standard MODbus master and slave communications allows for extending the I/O by using third-party I/O modules and integration into existing SCADA systems.
Standard computational capabilities include statistical and event-driven data logging, while sophisticated calculations let the logger pre-process the data prior to storage and alarm setpoints with digital and relay outputs.
DataTaker allows users to connect an array of sensors through the versatile analog and digital channels, high-speed counter inputs, and programmable serial sensor channels. Temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA loops, resistance, bridges, strain gauges, frequency, digital, serial and calculated measurements can all be scaled, logged and returned in engineering units or within statistical reporting.
It’s just as easy to setup sampling, logging, alarm and control tasks to suit your own requirements while expanding the DT82I’s flexibility with interfaces for smart sensors, GPS, and other intelligent devices. Series 4 dataloggers are also covered by a 3-year warranty on workmanship and parts.
Superior Data Storage and Communications:
With the standard DT82I able to store up to 10 million data points (expandable), you can log as much or as little as you need. Overwrite or stop logging once allocated memory is full, archive data on alarm events, or copy to USB memory—the choice is yours!
The web interface allows users to configure the DT82I, access logged data, and see current measurements as mimics or in a list using a web browser. FTP/email provides data to your office over the Internet or wireless network, without the need for polling or specific host software.
- Built-in software—no application to install!
- Accessible by Ethernet, USB and RS-232
- Intuitive graphical interface
- Access live and historical data
- View data as charts, mimics and tables
DataTaker dEX is an intuitive graphical interface that allows you to configure your data logger, view real-time data in mimics, trend charts or tables, and retrieve your historical data for analysis.
Accessible by Ethernet or USB connection, dEX runs directly from your web browser and can be accessed either locally or remotely, anywhere that a TCP/IP connection is available, including worldwide over the Internet!
