Added iOS and Android Support for Push Alarm Notifications
On September 17, 2021, TandD announced a long-awaited feature update to their T&D Thermo App for both iOS and Android users. In this Version 2.2 Update, background push notifications have now been enabled to send alarm warnings from the WebStorage Service to your mobile device. Please note, this is a separate function and will not replace the email notifications that the WebStorage Service sends out for warning notifications. You will need to confirm that both your phone and the T&D Thermo App have “Background Refresh” enabled in order for this new feature to function properly.
This Version 2.2 update also added support for TandD’s recently released TR-7A series of loggers. The new TR-71A temperature data logger is perfect for refrigerators and freezers with dual probes, built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB communications, and a vaccine mode to provide CDC VFC compliant monitoring.
In addition to the new push notifications and TR-7A series support, there is a number of other new enhancements to the app:
- Added a function to create a PDF report of data downloaded using Bluetooth or WLAN Direct Communication
- Added a function to output log and settings from the Settings Table Screen
- Added a function to immediately communicate with T&D WebStorage Service by swiping down at the Top screen
