How To Return An Item

Before returning an item you must obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. You must provide proof that you purchased the item from CAS Dataloggers (purchase order number or invoice number). Your item must be in its original, unused condition in order to be accepted for return, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Items must be clean and free of any toxins or debris. You must return the item within 10 days of your purchase.

1. Before returning a product, go to our RMA Request Page or call to request an RMA #.

2. Once you receive the RMA #, write the number on the outside of your shipping box and send your item to:

CAS Dataloggers
Attn: RMA Dept.
8437 Mayfield Road, Unit 104
Chesterland OH 44026

Return Exceptions

  • Some items cannot be returned or canceled. These include custom orders, calibrations, engineering pre-programmed loggers and modified units.
  • Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Restocking Fee

All items are subject to at least a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. If an item is not returned in new condition with ALL original packaging, cables, manuals and all accessories included, the restocking fee may be higher. The original shipping and handling paid on the order is not subject to refund.

Exchanges

If your unit is in like new condition, you may exchange your item for a different unit. You may not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but the customer remains responsible for all shipping costs.

Repairs

Products that are returned after the warranty period or that are damaged by the customer as specified in the warranty provisions can be returned to CAS Dataloggers with a valid RMA # for evaluation. The item will be inspected and corrective action will be recommended and quoted prior to any repairs.

Refunds

Calibration costs are non-refundable.
