The Lascar EL-WiFi-VAC2 Vaccine Temperature Monitoring Kit allows remote vaccine monitoring and data collection over a WiFi network, viewable from any internet-enabled device including smartphone, tablet or PC using the FilesThruTheAir Cloud service. Set-up high and low alarms and receive instant email alerts when temperatures become too hot or cold in the fridge or freezer.
The Lascar EL-WiFi-DTP+ utilizes 2 high-precision sensors to measure temperature at 2 locations for example a refrigerator and freezer and is accurate to ±0.1˚C. The glycol bottles supplied with the probes help dampen temperature variations due to door opening/closing and compressor cycling to provide measurements that more accurately mimic product temperature. Data is wirelessly transmitted via a WiFi network to a PC and viewed using a frees software package. The wireless connection requires an 802.11b compliant WiFi router/network and is also compatible with Enterprise Networks from September 2013.
The EL-WiFi-DTP+ is a low powered battery device. If configured using typical transmission times (e.g. once every 5 minutes) the sensor will operate for over one year (at room temperature). The battery can then be recharged via a PC or USB +5V wall adapter using the USB lead provided or can be permanently powered by the USB wall adapter.
